TESTING PROCESS
While the testing process varies depending on your specific question, the main steps are:
1. Diagnostic interview (1-2 hours). Information about your background, history, presenting problem and other areas of functioning is gathered to generate hypotheses about possible causes of the difficulty.
2. Test administration (4-6 hours). Based on the hypotheses, a test battery is constructed. Multiple measures are used in order to provide ample evidence for or against a certain hypothesis. Tests are administered and scored in accordance with a standardized procedure.
3. Data integration and report writing (1-2 weeks). All the collected data are analyzed and integrated to explain the presenting problem. A comprehensive assessment report is then produced to capture the findings and conclusions of the assessment process.
4. Feedback session (1-2 hours). Findings along with recommendations and referrals are presented and discussed.
